GRS CERTIFICATION

Imaco S.r.l. obtains GRS certification for its IMABATCH recycled material

In 2024, Imaco S.r.l. obtained the GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certification from ICEA (Institute for Ethical and Environmental Certification).

Through the reprocessing of waste from previous TPU productions—mainly derived from sports and technical items—and using an extrusion plant, we have developed a product called IMABATCH: a granule with variable hardness depending on the processed by-product, fully compatible with standard injection molding processes.

All our IMABATCH materials contain at least 65% of the original by-product and maintain—and often enhance—its key properties.

The purpose of the GRS certification is to make materials and products recognizable within the circular economy framework, promoting their use and ensuring their valorization through responsible reuse, thereby preventing them from becoming waste.
